The Mozilla Corporation confirmed final release of Firefox 2.0, the second-generation release of the popular alternative Web browser.
New features in Firefox 2.0 include
- Enhancements in security
- tabbed browsing
- A built-in spell checking
- Anti-phishing** feature
JavaScript 1.7 and improved subscribing of RSS feeds are also among the additions. The update to Firefox’s JavaScript interpreter is an important change, especially as more Web sites take advantage of the new benefits of Asynchronous JavaScript
Firefox 2.0 has been in testing since March and was originally slated to launch in August. However, a number of last minute bugs and security issues pushed back the release to October, and Mozilla said it would not rush FIrefox’s first major upgrade.

A movie that will make even the most macho man cry?? Maybe.. I’m talking about the movie Rain Man. I watched the movie last night(for the 8th time) and haven’t been able to get it out of my head. IMO i feel its Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise’s best performance. Two brothers, one successful and the other mentally challenged, are reunited. They both learn how to live with each other and eventually learn to love each other.
Dustin Hoffman is my favorite actor. I’d watch him in any role. I was amazed at the way he pulled off this role. The vacant stare, the monotone voice, the screaming, it was unbelievable. Each time I watch it I am floored by his talent. Tom Cruise is also good(i hate that SOB), the villain of the story who undergoes such a subtle change that it’s almost not visible until nearly the end, but I suppose it is very clear and easy to say that Dustin acts him off the screen. No wonder he won the Oscar!!!
This is a good drama that gives an idea of what living with an autistic person must be like. I’ve heard my cousin talk about autistic kids and though it gave me a general idea of what it would be like to take care of such a kid/person…this movie kinda shows how it actually is.
The best scene in the movie has to be the scene in the motel where Charlie discovers who “Rain Man” really is. Clever, brave and superbly done, Rain Man download it, buy it, leech it..its up to you but don’t miss it.
